Sweet and gentle lady looking for a place to spend her Golden Years.
Zoe
Location: PAWS
Status: Eagerly Awaiting Adoption
Breed: Yellow Lab Mix
Sex: Female Age: 14-17 years young!
Her eyes have seen many sunrises and sunsets. She may not see or hear all that well any longer but when you reach out your hands to pet her graying muzzle she can certainly feel the love in your heart. When you sit with her and she puts her head in your lap you know she must be asking herself "Where are my people?" "Where is my favorite blanket?" "What did I do to deserve this?" Zoë is a truly special senior citizen who came to PAWS after being picked up a stray by local animal control. How could it be that a dog that is estimated to be somewhere between 14 and 17 years old suddenly finds herself alone in the streets and picked up by the pound? Zoë is hoping that a kind soul with a huge heart will adopt her or even foster her long term. After so many years of loyalty, we owe her a life that her last memory isn't one of being in a shelter. Interested? Please call PAWS at (203) 750-9572 or visit www.pawsct.org to see other great dogs and cats looking for homes.

Jack
Location: PAWS
Status: Eagerly Awaiting Adoption
Breed: Hound Mix
Sex: Male Age: 1 year
You might take one look at me a say "Wow! That's the biggest Jack Russell Terrier I've ever seen!" but you'd be wrong. I'm not a JRT, I'm actually a Hound mix. My person moved and could only have a small dog in the new place. I'm not that big - just 38 pounds but I guess I was too big for the new place. What did he do? Move into a shoebox??? I'm an active, playful and friendly guy. I love to play with my soccer ball and I have lived with another dog. PAWS is working on some basic obedience with me. I am already housebroken. I was born on 6/10/08 so I'm just over 1 year old. I'm neutered and have all my shots. Interested? Please call PAWS at (203) 750-9572 or visit www.pawsct.org to see other great dogs and cats looking for homes.

Breed: Domestic Short Hair
Sex: Female Age: 2 years
Margaret came to us with three little kittens and all found good homes at Christmas time. She now needs a home of her own.
