Gorgeous Looks & a Sweet Purr-sonality!
Augusta
Location: PAWS
Status: Eagerly Awaiting Adoption
Breed: Maine Coon
Sex: Female  Age: 9 years

I love to have my head and neck rubbed and I'll roll over with pleasure to accept all the gentle loving you can dish out. I get a bit scared and shy away from sudden movements, but give me a moment and I'll be happy to come to you and seek out attention.
I'm best suited for a less-active home where I would be the ONLY pampered pet. You also need to know that in the past I've had litter box issues. I've never had a
problem here at Paws though. I really hope that doesn't scare you away because I'm a great girl who has so much love to give. I just need to find the right home. I'm a Maine Coon, about 9 years old, spayed, current on all my vaccinations and have tested negative for FIV and FeLV. Interested? Please call PAWS at (203) 750-9572 or visit www.pawsct.org to see other great dogs and cats looking for homes.

Vendi. Vidi. Vici. I came. I saw. I got drool on your pants. OK. OK. So my Latin is a little rusty! What did you expect? I'm a dog!
Vendi
Location: PAWS
Status: Eagerly Awaiting Adoption
Breed: Pit Bull Terrier
Sex: Female  Age: 1 year

I can't believe it! I turned 1 year old in October of 2009! I know I was born in October because there were a lot of scary black cat decorations around when I first opened my eyes. It seems like just yesterday that I was a puppy playing with my siblings and bugging the heck out of my mom. Those were the good old days--playing out in the backyard, going for walks with my people, hanging out on the couch watching Animal Planet and ooooh, the belly rubs. Don't forget the belly rubs! They were the best thing since the invention of soft treats! All that changed when my people who I loved very much put me in the car one day. I thought we were going to the park or maybe just a quick trip the store. With the exception of a trip to the "V.E.T.", I thought going anyplace was cool.

Margaret
Location: Pet Pals Northeast, Inc.
Status: Eagerly Awaiting Adoption
Breed: Domestic Short Hair
Sex: Female  Age: 2 years

Margaret came to us with three little kittens and all found good homes at Christmas time. She now needs a home of her own. She is about 2 years old and would need a home where she is the only cat and some time to adjust to a real home. Having lived outdoors most of her life, she needs to have someone spoil her. Margaret is in good health, FeLV and FIV negative, spayed, current on all vaccines, wormed and no fleas. Call Julie at 860-546-1280. or complete our online adoption application at http://www.petpalsnortheast.org/AdoptionApplication.php

Am I going to be the apple of your eye?
Apple
Location: PAWS
Status: Eagerly Awaiting Adoption
Breed: Shepherd/Whippet Mix
Sex: Male  Age: 4 years

Would you like to be the apple of my eye? I know you do! My name is Apple and I am a 4 year old, male Shepherd/Whippet mix. I love people and I love to run. If you are a jogger I would be a great companion for a morning run. People say I am quite friendly, so I am sure all your fellow walkers and joggers would be happy to meet me! I would be happiest in a home without other pets. I weigh a trim 30 pounds, I'm already neutered and have all my vaccines. Sounds like I'm ready to run into your heart & your home! Interested? Please call PAWS at (203) 750-9572 or visit www.pawsct.org to see other great dogs and cats looking for homes.
