CT Pet Projects is currently on hiatus. Please continue to search for volunteer opportunities by contacting our member organizations as CT's homeless animals still so desperately need your help. We will be in touch with all Pet Squad members when we are back up and running. Thank you! CT Pet Projects is a volunteer network and resource portal for those who are involved or would like to become involved in companion animal welfare initiatives. The mission of CT Pet Projects is to connect skilled volunteers with animal welfare organizations who are looking for help. Whether you're a compassionate and humane individual looking to volunteer or an animal welfare organization looking for volunteers, you can make the connection at CTPetProjects.org. Learn more...

Billions of plastic bags are choking our planet. All of these "free" bags ultimately cost both consumers and the environment plenty:
* Each year billions of bags end up as ugly litter.
* Eventually they break down into tiny toxic bits polluting our soil, river, lakes and oceans
* Production requires vast amounts of oil.
* Countless animals needlessly die each year.
Find out more about plastic bag usage and how you can help at ReusableBags.com.
